everyone always talks about how great zuko’s redemption arc was in atla but tbh i’m really disappointed that no one ever mentions how azula had without a doubt the most epic and realistic downfall of any antagonist in any fictional work i’ve ever seen. like years later i am still completely shook
The fact that Grimmer doesn’t have a gun is like the greatest thing to me, EVERYONE in this series carries a gun including the doctor himself
I also just love this scene because it’s like…the first thing Grimmer has to say is for Suk not to pull his gun when there’s kids around. So much dad in this scene
There are only two(very short, though determined) blogs I’ve never revealed to anybody. I suppose that is the type of the personal things which reflects your true self…
the best scene in Monster to date is when Lunge asks Suk’s mother with Alzheimer’s about the pretty blonde girl who visited, and she says“A woman? No there weren’t any women who came to visit.”
And okay, Lunge thinks she probably forgot, so he’s like“Well, the nurse said she was certain there was. She said there was a beautiful blonde.”
And Suk’s MOM fuckin obliterates him, blows him out of the water, absolutely wasted: “Yes. She was very beautiful. But that. Was definitely a man.”
